INO works with Quebec City to improve air quality

INO—in collaboration with Université Laval—is joining forces with the City of Quebec, Ministère de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MELCC), and the Port of Québec in an initiative to gain a better understanding of the city’s air quality.

Under the project, air quality measurement stations will be installed in the city’s central neighbourhoods using INO-developed LiDAR technology. This initiative will identify contaminants and their source with a view to implementing corrective measures to improve air quality.
